What would happen if this kind of convection occurred in a rotating system?

This photo3) is a view from above of the current, using liquid capsules that change color with temperature mixed in water instead of miso soup. In this case, the spouting up and sucking down motion is not visible, but it

spins around like a vortex

instead. In a rotating system, because of the principle of preservation of angular momentum, horizontal gathering and spreading cannot occur freely. In other words the spouting and sucking down here is out of control , as opposed to the miso soup.
